Without question, the survival of the oceans and the biodiversity that sustains the marine ecosystems are at risk.

We are the cause; there are too many people who consume too much, who have limited knowledge of the fragile marine biosphere and we do not recognize the value of the earth's natural resources.

We are the solution; we must reduce our consumption, we must increase our knowledge of the complex marine ecosystems, and we must re-evaluate the earth's biological resources.

Our work involves:

Providing educational materials to increase the knowledge of people whose livelihoods depend upon a viable, productive marine environment;
Providing support on a local level;
Supporting the preservation of marine biological diversity as the path to a healthy and productive marine environment.
